PPF (public provident fund) kya hai?

PPF ek long term investment option hai jo aapko invested amount ke sath interest bhi deta hai. PPF me invest kiya hua amount aur invested amount par mila hua interest dono tax free hai. Aapko PPF account open karna hoga aur jo amount deposit kiya hai usko section 80C ke under claim karna hoga.

PPF account kaise open karen?

PPF account aap post office ke through ya nationalised bank ke trough ya fir private bank ke through bhi open kar sakte hain. Account open karne ke liye aapko aapke bank se puchna hoga ki ye facility aapka bank provide karta hai ya nahi. Account open karne ke liye aapko kuch niche diye gaye documents bank me submit karne padenge.

* Account open karne ke liye 1 application form fill kar ke submit karna hoga.

* Residential address proof

* kyc documents jaise aadhaar card, voters ID

* passport size photo

* Nominee declaration form

Ye sab documents submit karne ke baad aap apne account me amount deposit kar sakte hai.

Interest rate on PPF

PPF me aapko compounded interest receive hota hai. PPF me current interest rate 7.1% hai.

PPF ka interest rate finance ministry dwara decide kiya jata hai. Month ke 5th day Pe Jo balance hai ya FIR Jo month ke last mein balance hai uske upar interest calculate Hota Hai.

Features of PPF

1. PPF ka minimum tenure Jo Hota Hai vah 15 saal ke liye hota hai lekin 15 saal ke baad Agar aapko PPF account continue karna hai to aap 5 year ke block Mein isko extend bhi kar sakte hain.

2. PPF mein aapko minimum 500 rupees and maximum of 1.5 Lakh rupees every financial year mein deposit karne Hote Hain. PPF mein aap Ek Sath lump Sum amount deposit kar sakte hain ya fir har mahine 12 installment mein bhi aap amount deposite kar sakte hain.

3. Opening balance me aap rupees 100 Se Lekar Rs 1.5 Lakh Tak Rakh sakte hain lekin Agar aapane 1.5 Lakh Se Jyada amount deposit kiya to use amount per aapko interest rate receive nahi hoga aur na hi woh tax benefit mein consider Kiya jaega.

4. Aap PPF account mein, cash, cheque, demand draft or online fund transfer ke dwara amount deposit kar sakte hain. PPF account open Karte time aapko nominee bhi assign karna Hota Hai.

5. Aap PPF account ko joint mein open nahin kar sakte hain, yah account aapko individual ke naam per hi open karna Hota Hai.

6. PPF account mein aapko minimum Risk Hai because PPF, Indian government dwara chalai gayi scheme hai jismein aapko guaranteed return Milta hai aur aapka capital bhi safe rahata hai isliye ismein risk element bahut hi kam hai.
